Overview
$15 Sterling Silver Coin - King Edward VII (2008)

2nd in this series of 5 coins
Following the Queen Victoria coin (2008), this exceptional series continues with Edward VII (reigned 1901-1910) who, at 59, was the oldest Prince of Wales to become king. The Edwardian Age was shaped by his love of sport & theatre, and for his concentrated efforts to foster goodwill among monarchs throughout Europe - an endeavour for which he became affectionately known as the "Uncle of Europe".

His effigy appeared on Canada's 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50-cent coins from 1902 to 1910.
